Accessibility Statement
1. Our Commitment
Rally HQ — operated by Signal X Studio LLC — aims to provide a tournament management platform that is accessible to people of all abilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, an international standard developed by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative.
2. What We Do
To support an accessible experience, Rally HQ:
- Uses semantic HTML and ARIA where appropriate for assistive technology compatibility
- Provides sufficient color contrast in both light and dark modes (verified against WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratios)
- Supports keyboard navigation throughout the application
- Provides text alternatives for non-text content
- Tests with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA) during product development
- Honors users' system preferences for reduced motion and color scheme
3. Known Limitations
Transparency notice: We are actively working to identify and remediate accessibility issues. Known limitations include:
- Some legacy components may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast requirements (remediation in progress as part of the brand-v2 design system rollout)
- Tournament bracket visualizations rely on visual layout that may be difficult for screen readers; a list-based alternative view is available on every bracket page
- Real-time score updates may not be announced to screen readers in all contexts
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us at accessibility@rallyhq.app so we can prioritize remediation.
4. Reporting an Accessibility Issue
We welcome feedback. To report an accessibility issue:
- Email accessibility@rallyhq.app with a description of the issue, the page URL, your browser and assistive technology (if any), and any screenshots that help us reproduce the issue
- We aim to acknowledge reports within 5 business days and provide a remediation timeline within 15 business days
5. Regulatory Compliance
This statement is provided in connection with:
- The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title III, which we treat as applicable to our public-facing service
- Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, where applicable to government-sector use
- The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), effective June 28, 2025, where applicable to users in the EU
- The Equality Act 2010 (UK), where applicable to users in the UK
We do not claim to be free from accessibility barriers. We are committed to continuous improvement.
6. Conformance Status
- Standard: WCAG 2.2 Level AA
- Conformance level: Partially conformant — some parts of the content do not yet fully conform
